The University of Indianapolis partners with Michael Management to ensure its School of Business students are prepared to work in their field of study
According to the Washington Post “only 27% of college grads have a job related to their major.” Dr. Craig Seidelson at the University of Indianapolis realized this disparity and works to minimize it for his students..
With 20 years of experience building and managing factories himself, Dr. Seidelson understands running a company requires management of real-time data across all areas of the business. His goal is that the Operations and Supply Chain majors he instructs will gain these skills through hands-on use of Enterprise Resource Planning software.
“Illinois State has a top accounting program with AACSB accreditation. I came back because I wanted to further add to the marketability of our students with SAP training as a course,” said Dr. Crampton.
A fact to be celebrated, over 94% of Operations and Supply Chain majors at the University of Indianapolis are working in their field within 90 days of graduation! A key reason why is the 45+ hours each student spends training in SAP on the Michael Management platform.
"Through our training partnership with Michael Management, every MBA as well as undergraduate major and minor in Operations and Supply Chain Management has the opportunity to become Essential SAP Skills S/4 HANA certified."
Continuing to drive the partnership with Michael Management is knowing that after completing his course, students are more prepared than their other peers when entering the job market. “Students routinely tell me hiring managers are most impressed with the fact that they possess SAP skills necessary to make an immediate impact”, shared Dr. Seidelson.
”Since May 2020, our students have completed over 1,500 hours of SAP training with Michael Management. DR. CRAIG SEIDELSON PhD, Engineering Assistant Professor of Operations & Supply Chain Management School of Business “
