Overview

While sales orders can also be used to manage long term sales agreement with customers, SAP has two types of outline agreements that can be used to fulfil this business requirement more accurately. These are scheduling agreements and contracts. One must be careful to not mix up purchasing scheduling agreements and purchasing contracts with sales scheduling agreements and sales contracts.
