How do employee tolerances and general ledger tolerances differ?

Overview

The Tolerance group for employees is a function that determines the maximum amount an employee (typically group of employees) is authorized to post in the system. On the other hand, general ledger tolerance is used to manage payment differences. It defines the limit in which differences can be accepted and posted to accounts automatically.
