What are parameter types in Parameterized Mapping in SAP PI?

Import and Export are parameter types in Parameterized Mapping. Using import parameters values can be passed to the mapping program before the mapping program is executed. Using export parameters values can be passed to the mapping program after the mapping program is executed.

You can assign values to export parameters only using User Defined Functions (UDF).
