You get your own SAP S/4 HANA server that no one else has access to. You can create your own configuration scenarios and master data without having to worry about sharing with other users. Also, 1 of your 5 user IDs gets access to the ABAP Workbench (additional ABAP users are chargeable). The system already includes SAP's Business Best Practices (BBP), including basic configuration, sample master data (i.e. vendors, customers, materials, etc.) and transactions (i.e. invoices, payments, purchase orders, etc.).
Dedicated server means that you have the entire SAP system and it is available only to you... while a dedicated client is a separate client on a shared SAP server system. A dedicated server requires separate hardware, setup fee and a minimum purchase of one year.
With a dedicated server there are no restrictions, you can configure the SAP system the way you want. We can provide basic/configuration support for an additional fee. The hourly basis fee is $170.
You can create new clients within your dedicated server, but additional fees apply. A dedicated server contains 3 clients by default. We can provide you with a quote for additional clients.
There are no limits on how many users can be added to a server system, but we do have minimum blocks of users and time.
We add users in blocks of 25 users. Any additional 25-users must remain in the system for 90 days. You can add users as needed.
