The line selection element & will be deleted

What causes this issue?

You are editing the attributes of a table control and do not want to
allow for a line selection column.
A screen element for the line selection column already exists. This
combination does not make any sense.

System Response

The system accepts your entry that you do not want a line selection
column and deletes the screen element acting as line selection column.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
