Selection overlaps graphical element

What causes this issue?

You are either

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

creating graphical elements by converting from existing non-graphical
elements (input/output fields, text fields).
By choosing <LS>Select block end</>, you have defined a rectangular
area where the elements are supposed to be converted to graphical
elements. However, the rectangular area already contains complete or
partial graphical elements.
creating a radio button group by grouping together at least two radio
buttons.
The position of the selected radio button and the cursor determine the
opposing corners of the rectangular area where the radio button group
is expected. This area contains complete or partial graphical elements
which cannot be grouped together in a radio button group because they
are not radio buttons.

How to fix this error?

Define the rectangular area so that the elements to be converted or
grouped together are completely within the area and other elements are
completely excluded.
