Not enough space for icon of length &. Operation not performed

What causes this issue?

You are assigning an icon to a screen element.
There is not sufficient space for the icon, counting from the starting
position of the screen element.

System Response

The icon can not be assigned.

How to fix this error?

Create more space, for example by moving an element, then assign the
icon.
