However, the SAP GUI is obsolete.

System Response

The graphical Layout Editor is part of the SAP GUI. You cannot use
the graphical Layout Editor if the release version of the SAP GUI
and patch level within the release version do not fulfill a minimum
requirement.
The system denies to call the graphical Layout Editors and switches
to the alphanumeric Layout Editor instead.

How to fix this error?

Use a current release version of the SAP GUI or a higher
patch level.
