No differences are allowed during clearing of provisional postings

What causes this issue?

You are clearing provisional postings, however the balance of the items
is not zero in the clearing currency or the local currency.

System Response

Error message, clearing is not possible.

How to fix this error?

You can clear provisional postings only if there are no differences.
Neither small differences nor exchange rate differences are allowed.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
