Reversal date &1 is not the last period in a company code

What causes this issue?

You have entered a document reversal for the special period &V2& or this
has been determined by the system as a default special period. The
reversal with a special period is only allowed if the posting date (&V1&
) falls in the last normal period in at least one of the company codes
involved.
However, this is not the case in the document to be reversed here.

System Response

The system cannot execute the reversal.

How to fix this error?

Check the posting date and change the special period entered, if you
have the necessary authorization. If the special period was determined
as the default special period, check of the reversal can be carried out
without the special period (value 'none').

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
