Consumption indicator & is not possible with this requirements class

What causes this issue?

The consumption indicator used here with this requirements type does
not correspond to the default value that was maitained in Customizing
for the consumption indicator.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check;
the consumption indicator in the item screen
the consumption indicator in Customizing for demand management (Default
values -> Consumption type)
if necessary, the consumption indicator in the requirements parameters.
