Error in calculation of article &1 for sales unit &2, period &3 - &4

What causes this issue?

An error occurred while the system was exploding the quantity flow for
article &V1&, unit of measure &V2& in the period &V3& - &V4&. The error
could originate in the general price calculation from article master
data or when calculating the splitting factor.

System Response

The system can not process the article in the specified period.

How to fix this error?

Check the <DS:TRAN.J7L2>article</> using the consistency check function.
