Open item management may not be changed (Check your entry)

You want to change open item management in the asset class.

System Response

It is possible to change this. However, this change will effect all
future assets created in this class.
Assets already defined in the class will not be effected by this
change. If you want to change them, you will have to perform a mass
change on all the assets.
Instead of changing the open item management indicator, you ought to
think about creating a new class.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
