What causes this issue?

The posting period &V3& &V4& derived from the posting date is not
within the posting period defined for account type &V2& account &V1&.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check the posting period using the Finance Customizing menu.
