Change to group characteristics for installation &1 date &2 not permitted

What causes this issue?

Installation group characteristics (<DS:DE.INSTGRTYPE>grouping type</>,
<DS:DE.INSTROLE>installation role</>, or <DS:DE.MAININST>primary
installation key</> have been changed in installation &v1& on &v2&.
These fields cannot be changed in the billing period.

System Response

Installation billing is cancelled.

How to fix this error?

You have the following options:
Undo the changes
Bill the installation up until the date the changes were made

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
