Database-based archiving statistics are switched off

What causes this issue?

If the database-based archiving statistics are switched off, then the
calculation of the statistics is based on the related ABAP dictionary
object type. This means that the length defined in the ABAP dictionary
is used for the calculation. These values can differ from the memory
actually used in the database, especially in the following cases:
Tables that exist on the database in a compressed format (especially
when using SAP HANA).
Tables that contain table fields of variable length (for example, data
types LCHAR, LRAW, STRING, or XSTRING).

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check whether it makes sense to switch on the database-based statistics.
To be able to determine the correct archiving statistics in this way,
the database statistics need to have been generated and they must be
up-to-date. The method for updating statistical information from the
database system depends on the specific database platform.
