Invalid selection: Choose function according to task list type

What causes this issue?

You tried to edit an alternative version of a task list using a
transaction that is not valid for the desired reference object
(material, equipment, functional location).

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Select the following:
standard transactions for equipment task lists (TL type E):
IE02 Change equipment task list
IE03 Display equipment task list
standard transactions for functional location task lists (TL type T):
IE12 Change functional location task list
IE13 Display functional location task list
standard transactions for general maintenance task lists (TL type A):
IA06 Change general task list
IA07 Display general task list
