What causes this issue?

The parts to be provided are assigned to an externally processed
operation. A movement type is determined for these parts. However, no
movement type is entered in the relevant section of Customizing

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Go into Customizing for production orders and specify a movement type.
These are the movement types 543 and 544 in the standard package.
