Criteria that affect whether an MBOM can be assigned to a shop floor
routing version
When searching for the MBOM to assign to the shop floor routing, the
system performs a large number of checks to ensure that the MBOM can be
assigned. If any of the customizing or material settings listed below
are not fulfilled, the system may not return the MBOM or material that
you are looking for.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
<ZH>Customizing activity: Define Version Profile</> (<ZK>TCA01_SUBTYPE</>)
In customizing (SPRO) under <ZK>Production -> Manufacturing for
Production Engineering and Operations -> Production Engineering ->
Routings -> Shop Floor Routing -> Define Version Profile</>:
If the successive checkbox is selected in the version profile that is
assigned to the routing only the latest released MBOM version and the
in-process MBOM version can be assigned. (<ZK>STKO-VERSNLASTIND</> = X
or <ZK>STKO-VERSNST</> = 01)
Note: If the successive checkbox is not selected, all MBOM versions can
be assigned.
<ZH>Customizing activity: Define Additional Attributes for Material Type
</> (<ZK>MPE_CM_MATTYP_AT</>)
In customizing (SPRO) under <ZK>Production -> Manufacturing for
Production Engineering and Operations -> Cross-Applications -> Unitized
Product -> Define Additional Attributes for Material Type</>.
<ZH>Customizing activity: Define Version Profile</> (<ZK>TCA01_SUBTYPE
</>)
In customizing (SPRO) under <ZK>Production -> Manufacturing for
Production Engineering and Operations -> Production Engineering ->
Routings -> Shop Floor Routing -> Define Version Profile</>.
If you are using a routing version profile that allows multiple MBOMs
(checkbox <ZK>Single BOM </>is empty) (<ZK>TCA01_SUBTYPE-SINGLE_MBOM</>
empty) then you can only assign:
Materials with material types that do not allow parameter effectivity (
<ZK>MATERIAL_TYPE</> not in <ZK>MPE_CM_MATTYP_AT</>).
Materials that are non-configurable (<ZK>MARA-KZKFG</> is empty).
<ZH>Customizing activity: Assign Task List Types to Material Types</> (
<ZK>T409</>)
In customizing (SPRO) under <ZK>Quality Management -> Quality Planning
-> Inspection Planning -> General -> Assign Task List Types to Material
Types</>:
You can only assign materials with material types that are assigned to
the task list type shop floor routing ( <ZK>T409: MTART to PLNTY = V
</>)
<ZH>Customizing activity: Define BOM Usages</> (<ZK>T416</>)
In customizing (SPRO) under <ZK>Logistics - General -> Product Lifecycle
Management -> Basic Data -> Bill of Material -> General Data -> BOM
Usage -> Define BOM Usages</>:
The MBOM can only be assigned to the shop floor routing if the BOM usage
assigned to it has been maintained in customizing. (<ZK>T416-STLAN</>)
The MBOM can only be assigned to the shop floor routing if the BOM usage
assigned to it has been set to production relevant. (<ZK>T416-PMPFE = +
</>)
The MBOM can only be assigned to the shop floor routing if the BOM usage
assigned to it has not been set to engineering relevant. (<ZK>T416-PMPKO
not +</>)
<ZH>Customizing activity: Define Control Data for BOM Usage</> (
<ZK>T416_CTRL_DATA</>)
In customizing (SPRO) under <ZK>Logistics - General -> Basic Data ->
Bill of Material -> General Data -> BOM Usage -> Define Control Data for
BOM Usage</>:
The MBOM can only be assigned to the shop floor routing if the BOM usage
assigned to it is maintained in customizing. (<ZK>T416_CTRL_DATA-STLAN
</>)
The MBOM can only be assigned to the shop floor routing if the BOM usage
assigned to it is version controlled. (<ZK>T416_CTRL_DATA-VERSN_CTRL =
V</>)
The MBOM can only be assigned to the shop floor routing if the BOM usage
assigned to it has been set to the only execution or execution and
planning relevance. (<ZK>T416_CTRL_DATA-PROD_RELEVANCE = E or empty</>)
<ZH>Customizing activity: Determine Serial Number Profiles</> (<ZK>T377
</>)
In customizing (SPRO) under <ZK>Materials Management -> Purchasing ->
Serial Numbers -> Determine Serial Number Profiles</>.
If the serialized product option is selected in the <ZK>Serialized
</>field, the MBOM can only be assigned to the shop floor routing If the
MBOM material has been defined as being a shop floor item (SFI) in the
work scheduling screen of the material master record. (
<ZK>MARC-SERNP</> filled)
And if the serial number profile has been maintained in customizing. (
<ZK>T377-SERAIL = MARC-SERNP</>)
And if the serial number usage is <ZK>obligatory</> or <ZK>automatic.</>
(<ZK>T377-SERPFLICHT = 03 or = 04</>)
And if the serial number procedure is <ZK>PP Order Release.</> (
<ZK>T377-BELEG = PPRL</>)
If the non-serialized product option is selected in the <ZK>Serialized
</>field, the MBOM can only be assigned to the shop floor routing:
If the MBOM material has not been assigned a serial number profile in
the material master record and is therefore a non-serialized product. (
<ZK>MARC-SERNP empty</>)
<ZH>Material</>
The MBOM can only be assigned to the shop floor routing if the MBOM
material:
Can be found via transactions MM02/MM03. ( <ZK>MARA-MATNR</>)
Before OP1909 FPS1: Is a non-configurable material. (<ZK>MARA-KZKFG</>
empty)
<ZH>Bill Of Material</>
The MBOM can only be assigned to the shop floor routing if:
It has the category <ZK>Material</>. (<ZK>STKO-STLTY = M</>)
It is not deleted. (<ZK>STKO-LKENZ empty</>)
Is an MBOM version. (<ZK>STKO-BOM_VERSN filled</>)
Is a versioned MBOM. (<ZK>STZU-VERSIND = X</>)
<ZH>Additional User Input</>
Filter criteria according to user input: BOM, material, plant, BOM
version status, BOM variant usage, BOM variant
Search criteria according to user input: BOM, material, material
description, BOM description, BOM alternative description, created by
user, changed by user.
<ZH>During Routing Maintenance</>
In routing version maintenance: Only BOM versions that are not already
assigned to the routing version.
