Configure the method to update cut-off date for master project &1.

What causes this issue?

You want to perform in-period forecasting for the master project, but
have not enabled the setting of cut-off dates for the master project
type. The cut-off date determines the date up to which the system
considers actual values for purpose of in-period forecasting.

System Response

The system does not create a forecast for the master project.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Procedure for System Administrators

Maintain the setting to update cut-off dates for master project types,
in Customizing for <LS>SAP Commercial Project Management</>, under
<LS>Master Data</> > <LS>Master Project </>>
<DS:SIMG./CPD/MPLINK>Maintain Settings for Master Projects</>.
