Non-linear technical objects are deleted from selection

What causes this issue?

It is only possible to change linear data if the technical object is a
linear asset.

System Response

The system deletes the technical object from the selection.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
