Class type &1 object table &2 cannot be used for Linear Asset Management

What causes this issue?

Engineering Change Management is active for class type V1 with object
table V2. Therefore it cannot be marked as relevant for Linear Asset
Management.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Create and use separate classes and class types for Linear Asset
Management and Engineering Change Management.
