What causes this issue?

You want to analyze costs in the <LS>Detailed Cost Analysis</> view.
However, no data is shown since you have not provided a personal default
value for the GL account hierarchy yet.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

IF &[SWITCH]S4H_DOCU_CLOUD& = 'X'.
Provide a default value in your personal settings by choosing
<LS>Default Values</>. In the <LS>Financial Accounting</> area, provide
a value in the <LS>COA/GL Account Hier.</> field.

IF &[SWITCH]S4H_DOCU_ON_PREMISE& = 'X'.
Choose <LS>System --> User Profile --> User Data</> and provide a
default value for the GL account hierarchy in your user profile. On the
<LS>Parameters</> tab page, add the SET/GET Parameter ID
<LB>FCOM_GL_ACCT_HIER</> to the table and provide the corresponding
parameter value.
