Payment matching is not active

What causes this issue?

You want to carry out payment matching, but the payment matching
functions have not been activate in Customizing.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Activate payment matching in Funds Management customizing by choosing
<LS>Actual and Commitment Update/Integration -> Integration -> Match FI
payments and Funds Managment</>.
