Material master history data for &1 prevent archiving

What causes this issue?

Split valuation is active for material &V3& &V1&. The related material
master header data (valuation type = space) is representing the total
inventory quantity and value of all related material master child data
(valuation type <> space). Same applies for material master history
data.
Material master history data for &V3& &V1& are still required to enable
the system to calculate the total inventory for material master header
history data for fiscal year &V2&.

System Response

Extract data for &V3& &V1& are not written to archive.

How to fix this error?

First archive material master header history data with archiving object
MM_HDEL.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
