What causes this issue?

You have not yet requested either a display of the field contents or a
display of the descriptions. You should display at least one of these,
otherwise you cannot know for which object (for example, cost center
or cost element) you are entering planned values.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

If necessary, read the online documentation of both fields again, and
check off either one or both of the fields.
