Provider Configuration not created: API settings missing from SOA Manager

What causes this issue?

Before you enable the web services used by BSI eFormsFactory? and
Employee Central Payroll to communicate, you must define the
authentication methods used for the API.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

1. In the SOA Manager, open the Service Administration tab and choose
Simplified Web Service Configuration.
2. Under Authentication Methods Setting for API in API Settings, select
Basic Authentication (user / password) and X509 Certificate
Authentication.
