Do not assign to cost object (not active in CO area & and FYear & )

What causes this issue?

You have assigned to a cost object, although Cost Object Accounting is
not active for controlling area &V1&, fiscal year &V2&.

System Response

The posting is invalid.

How to fix this error?

In Customizing for Controlling, activate Cost Object Accounting for
fiscal year &V2&.
