Order & is not assigned to CO area &

What causes this issue?

Order &V1& does not belong to controlling area &V2& in which the
posting is made. Order &V1& is in fact assigned to controlling area
&V3&. In certain cases the SAP System determines the controlling area
from the company code (and business area).

How to fix this error?

Check whether the controlling area entered or determined by the SAP
System is correct and change it if required.
Alternately, enter an order that belongs to controlling area &V2&.
