More than 999 posting lines in the CO document

What causes this issue?

A CO document for the cost accounting data was created in addition to
the FI document. More than 999 posting rows have been generated because
of multiple account assignments in the FI document rows.

System Response

The document cannot be posted.

How to fix this error?

Divide the document into smaller documents.
