Profit center &1 is locked in controlling area &2

What causes this issue?

The profit center is currently locked. The lock indicator has been
turned on for the relevant time frame in the profit center master
record.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

If you still want to post the data to this profit center, you need to
unlock the profit center.
