Cannot delete costing type & (standard cost estimate)

What causes this issue?

You are attempting to delete all <DS:GLOS.costing_type>costing types</>
for the <DS:GLOS.standard_cost_estimate>standard cost estimate</>. This
is not allowed.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

System Response

The system makes sure there is always at least one costing type for the
standard cost estimate for each <DS:GLOS.valuation_view>valuation
view</>.
