Record assigned number & has been transferred several times

What causes this issue?

Data has been transferred to the interface and at least two records
contained the number &V1&. This is not admissible as the records
transferred must be unique.

System Response

The system is unable to continue processing.

How to fix this error?

Check the data transferred to the interface.
