Batch cannot be used without storage location (will be reset)

What causes this issue?

You want to create a supplier consignment stock record for the material
and have specified a batch number but no storage location. However, you
must always enter a storage location if you want to create a batch.

System Response

The batch number will be reset when you press Enter.
