What causes this issue?

You wanted to display or process data on the material &V1&. However,
the material does not yet exist; that is, it has not yet been created,
or its creation has been scheduled, but the material has not yet been
activated.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
