Program terminated when material created (mat. no. already exists)

What causes this issue?

The program terminated when you created the material master record
becuase the upper limit of the internal number assignment range was
exceeded.

How to fix this error?

INCLUDE NA_SYSTVERW

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
