No matching alternative BOM exists

What causes this issue?

Either the combination of alternative BOM and BOM usage entered by you
does not exist for the material, or the period of validity and/or lot
size range of the production version is not fully contained in the
BOM's period of validity/lot size range.

System Response

The system checks the validity of the combination you have entered
using quantity structure determination "++++" from Costing. This
quantity structure determination must be configured so as to meet the
maximum check requirements in material master record maintenance.

How to fix this error?

Check the configuration in Customizing.
If you are not authorized to do so, contact your systems administrator.
