No authorization for material &

What causes this issue?

You wanted to display or change a material master record. However, you
do not have the authorization for the combination of the activity (in
this case, display or change) and the authorization group in the
material master record.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Contact your system administrator if you require the authorization.
Note for system administrators
The authorization object concerned is M_MATE_MAT (material master:
material).
