No authorization for material type &

What causes this issue?

You wanted to display or change a material master record. However, you
do not have the authorization for the
<DS:GLOS.authorization_group>authorization group</> assigned to the
material type of the material.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Ask your system administrator to give you this authorization.

Procedure for System Administrators

The <DS:GLOS.authorization_object>authorization object</> concerned is
M_MATE_MAR <LS>Material master: material type</>.
