What causes this issue?

The system calculated the remaining shelf life of the material on the
basis of the production date that you entered.
However, the remaining shelf life is less than the required minimum
remaining shelf life as specified in the purchase order or material
master record.

System Response

Depending on how the system is set, this message is either a warning or
an error message.

How to fix this error?
