Enter shelf life expiration date

What causes this issue?

The shelf life expiration date check is active for this movement
type in the given plant. Since a minimum remaining shelf life has been
defined for the material in the material master record or in the
purchase order, you must enter the shelf life expiration date at the
time of the goods receipt.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
