What causes this issue?

The maximum number of items possible in the material document has been
exceeded.

System Response

The system cannot post the material document.

How to fix this error?

Reduce the number of items in the material document. Create another
material document if required.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
