Enter posting date if for difference posting

What causes this issue?

When entering the count result, you want to post the inventory
differences at the same time. However, you did not enter a posting date.

System Response

To post inventory differences, you need to enter a posting date.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
