How to fix this error?

The system searches by column. One of the columns in the invoice item
list must be selected for this.
You either select a column by clicking on the column heading or
position the cursor on a field in any line of the column in question.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
