Error in selection condition (& & & &)

What causes this issue?

The view or matchcode ID which you are processing contains an incorrect
selection condition.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Correct the selection condition by selecting the function <LS>Selection
condition </>in the menu <LS>Goto </> of the field maintenance screen
of the matchcode ID or view.
