Access sequence & does not exist (processing not possible)

What causes this issue?

The access sequence required for table maintenance does not exist. The
follow-on tables cannot therefore be maintained.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

RESET N1
Create a new access sequence.
IF &DEVICE& = 'SCREEN'
<DS:TRAN.M/48>Perform function</>
ENDIF
Please create this access sequence exactly as in the standard SAP
client (client 000).
When the new access sequence is active, the report can be re-run.
