Field &1 in version with version type &2 are different

What causes this issue?

You want to activate version type &v2&.
The database field &v1& should be changed from version-dependent to
cross-version.
Prerequisite for this change is that all versions of a material with
the version type &v2& of this field, have the same value. This is not
the case for at least one material.

System Response

The activation is cancelled.

How to fix this error?

Correct the inconsistency between the versions.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
