Specialization type different

What causes this issue?

You attempted to create a new specialization of material &v1& with
specialization type &v2&. However, the material has specialization type
&v3&.

System Response

You can create only specializations with the same specialization type.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
