Number & cannot be displayed completely

What causes this issue?

The nummber lenbgth &v2& in Customizing is shorter than number &v1&.
The number is shortened as output.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Procedure for System Administrators

Lengthen the number in Customizing (Trans omsl). The length of the
numbers (numbere, version spearator, version, template, etc.) must not
be longer than 40 characters.
